my approacH
I see coaching and mentoring as a dynamic interplay. There can be a place for one or both models of support depending on the context:
Coaching
is about deep listening and asking questions which sharpen your perspective and help clarify your goals so you can design a way forward. Growth comes from uncovering your own solutions.
Mentoring
is about sharing perspectives and examples from my experience which may be relevant to your current goals or objectives. The purpose is not to prescribe a single “right” answer, but rather to provide insights, lessons learned, and alternative ways of thinking that you can choose to adapt to your situation.
Either way, the work is client-centered and grounded in cultivating awareness, openness and collaboration. I follow your lead, depending on what serves you best.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
I have been coaching and mentoring long before I really understood that’s what I was doing. Years of leading a global team and advising leaders taught me that real impact happens during honest and sometimes difficult conversations. The most valuable thing I could offer wasn't just my expertise—it was helping people access their own clarity and vision.
When friends, colleagues, and even acquaintances started telling me, ‘You should do this professionally,’ I understood how much I love helping people connect dots they don’t even know exist.
I also know what it feels like to hit a wall—hard. After years in an all-consuming, ‘recession-proof’ role, I burned out mentally and physically. That long season of overwork taught me how vital balance and perspective are and how important it was to challenge my ‘striver’ mindset. Leaving that role behind took a giant leap of faith, but it opened the door to this work. I realized coaching and mentoring are ‘my thing.’ My goal is to help others find ‘their thing’ by creating the space to step back, see more clearly, and define next steps with courage.
