About me

Hello there and welcome — I’m Sandy.
My hunch is you found me through someone you trust — a friend, colleague, or business contact. Whatever road you took, I’m really happy you are here, open and curious about what it means to work with a coach and mentor.

For as long as I can remember, people have asked me for advice — not because I had all the answers, but because they trusted I would help them stay the course, figure out what they needed, and where they wanted to go. That thread of trust has carried me through a winding professional path: advising corporate and non-profit clients, guiding managers in complex international roles, and coaching leaders across cultures at the highest levels of politics, international agencies, and the private sector.

I’m a San Franciscan who sold my worldly possessions and moved to Rome a few years after 9/11 because I have a deep, uncanny love for all things Italian. With no job, no house, no friends, I never stopped walking (literally — it’s still my favorite mode of transportation and my best thinking happens on foot). Those ‘Nos’ turned into a whole lot of ‘Yes’ after I put my creativity, perseverance and tenacity to work and I landed a home, job and started building a new life from scratch.

I live in constant pursuit of a good meal; (I am in Italy after all), and have a global constellation of friends and chosen family who make me feel rich in all the right ways. My wardrobe may be curated, but my approach to people is anything but — I prefer real conversations, a bit of irreverence, and creating the kind of space where both laughter and breakthroughs happen together.

I bring both objectivity and humanity to my coaching and mentoring — helping clients navigate transition, leadership, and growth in ways that are sustainable, authentic, and truly their own.
